SureFlap

SUREFLAP have developed Cat and Small Dog Doors which utilise a pet’s microchip to be read by the Pet Door, and only allow those selected Pets to enter one’s home. The Large Cat / Small Dog version has a number of additional features, such as timing control, where for example, one’s pet can still come back inside, but cannot exit the house between one’s chosen times of say, 6pm to 5am the next morning. Up to 32 pets can be programmed into each SureFlap Pet Door.

The SUREFLAP Microchip Cat Flap was developed by Cambridge physicist and owner of Flipper, Dr Nick Hill. Nick had experienced first-hand the unpleasant consequences of unwanted neighbourhood cats entering his home through the cat flap and decided to solve the problem.  After three years of intensive research and development, SureFlap was launched. Since then SureFlap has been recommended by vets throughout the UK, and AUSTRALIA PET DOORS are proud to be able to supply the range of SUREFLAP Cat Flaps and Small Dog Doors throughout Australia, including the unique Dual Scan Cat Door, that is designed to also keep selected Cats inside the home.

The SUREFLAP Microchip Cat Flap identifies cats using their unique identification microchip, unlocking only for your pet when they enter the home, preventing intruder cats from gaining access. It effectively learns your cat’s existing identification microchip, and is compatible with all common microchips. Additionally it stores up to 32 pet identities in memory, and those no longer required, can easily be deleted from the Pet Door memory.
