How Long Should You Walk Your Dog?

Being a dog owner is one of the most rewarding things in the world, but it also requires a lot of responsibility. Often, that responsibility is found in keeping your furry friend active.  While some dogs prefer short walks, others may require a lot more time and energy. The use of Frisbees, sticks, and other dog toys can eliminate the need for you to overdo it. Swimming is also a fantastic way of getting in rigorous activity for your dog.

Also, consider walking in new places other than your neighborhood. Try a new park, a beach, a lake, an interesting hike, and similar other outdoor areas. Always be sure they are dog-friendly and be sure to keep your pet on the leash if it is required.
