2 Items Every Pet Needs

If you want your pet to feel like an individual with some sense of independence, there are a few items you are going to find useful. Simple things like dog doors can give your pet freedom while still keeping him or her healthy and out of harm’s way.

Dog Doors: When you offer your pet this method for coming and going in and out of the home, you give them the power to make some decisions for themselves. If you have a fence or some other type of barrier around the home, you know your pet is safe, but he or she isn’t at the mercy of your availability and limited to outdoor time only for bathroom breaks.

Self-Dispensing Feeders:  How would you like to eat only when someone remembers to feed you? Don’t you like to get in the fridge in the middle of the night, or browse the cabinets when you want a snack and not a full meal? Self-dispensing feeders allow your pet that same freedom. Since they are gravity fed, all you need to do is top them off and give your pet access. There is no need to plug them in or keep them in any certain location. Your pet will love the access he or she has to the food, and you won’t have to stop what you are doing to feed him or her or worry that you might forget.

By providing these items for your pet, you treat them more as a member of the household and less like something you own. Your pet will love you for it, and you will enjoy being relieved of some daily duties.
